Quilting interference

I'm quietly quilting the bazaar quilt but I've run into a "couple" of problems.

As Tetsu says, cats and kittens sure fit right in with quilts. The minute I sit down to quilt Chip decides that it is a great place to play or take a nap. Play means tangle yourself up in the thread and see if you can catch the needle. Extra points if you can bite the thread in two before getting put back on the floor. Velvet agrees wholeheartedly with quilt and cat decor and between the two of them I am not getting much quilting done. I can't bear to move these two when they claim my quilt as their place of rest!

Awww....
RB will nest under the quilt & get "uppity" if I move it. (Does not help when workin gon binding.)
Rhapsody will sit on my lap on the top of the quilt - same story when I try to move it...

Those are two comfy cats!

Thank you for writing your blog - I enjoy reading it so much & seeing the photos. Such an interesting life you're having.

those two are conning you very well.
They are perfectly able to go to sleep elsewhere 2 seconds after you move them.

So why do I get out the wrong side of the bed so as not to disturb Moggie who is asleep at my knee.

She has me conned......vbg
I must admit if it is cramp, she sometimes makes a swift move in her sleep. But she loved her Mummy.

How cute and isn't it nice that they are getting along better! I love Chip's nose...it looks like she got into some dirt or else got choc on it!

Oh too cute - yes, cats and quilts go together like needle and thread! I also crochet, which can be fun with my kitty around.
I don't comment much, but truly love your blog, Tanya! Love reading about life in Japan.

Chip looks so much healthier now than when you first got him. Such a cutie! He is a very lucky little kitten.

How lucky you are to have 2 wonderful helpers. They look so comfy and I wouldn't move them either! Fred helped me sew on the machine yesterday, chasing the thread back and forwards, very out of character for him but oh so cute!

Tanya, Chip is looking good! It is cute that both Chip and Velvet want to be right there with you. In order to get any quilting done you may have to resort to a 'decoy' quilt beside you. It might work. Let them get comfortable before you actually start quilting.

Those two really know how to help! They're adorable. No quilting gets done here without furry helpers either.

Oh sweet. Neither would I have the heart to move them.
