I can relate your stress regarding stray animals. It just tears at my heart that they are left to fend for themselves. We have 3 cats as our beloved dog of 14 years left us in Oct. Our newest cat joined our home after spending a week roaming our neighborhood in Sept.

I live in Illinois across from St Louis, Mo. My daughter teaches English in Ansan, South Korea to kindergarten children. She absolutely loves it. I've only been following your blog for a couple of months but I so enjoy it.

Interested to hear about the latest little wanderer into your life. We've recently taken on an older cat of unknown age, but mostly likely 10 plus years. It's working out with our other two, so far.

PS I'm borrowing my cats' blog to respond. I quilt some now and then.

Hi Tanya,
Just called in and love your blog.

Sorry you're feeling down at the moment. It's difficult when it comes to animals.

My husband is a real big softie with animals. We have 3 greyhounds from a rescue centre. There's a fourth that he would just love to take as well who is not doing so well at the moment. In fact if he could he would open up a rescue centre here in Sweden for greyhounds. Bringing them all the way from the UK where there are thousands discarded each year after their racing career is finshed! That's how strongly he feels about them and the way they are often treated.

But it isn't very practical. i'm sure he could find homes for them, he is very persuasive but it costs too much to bring them over here. It's a shame as we have lots of space and time to look after them.

Hope to hear more and see a picture soon.
Lynne
