Cozy

Since I had the day to myself yesterday I put it to use doing what I love best and did some handwork. I got the Noah's Ark block done so I am ready for January's now. I really must get stronger glasses because I had a headache by the time I was finished.

I also sewed on my block to the Mini-Round Robin block that came to me. I can't show what I did to it but here is the original block that has been through two other people already. Already I see how these things change. This block is in solids and some hand dyed fabrics but the next person added some modern fabric and the next person added some florals... I went back to dyed fabric and some scrap triangles... I don't what the original piecer was really hoping for.

And here are a couple of pictures from this morning. These animals give me a laugh a day! Choco had been invited up on the sofa first and she was enjoying a sit with Tetsu when... Who should decide that it might be cozy to join them!

"Wait a minute. I don't think I like cats."

"Rats. You're planning to stay."

"Did you say something?"

"Not me. I'm not even looking at you."

"Is it really possible to make friends with a cat?"

"Okay. Have we come to an agreement? I'll take this knee and you take the other."

"Zzzz..."

Just love the animal pics in this post. You got the captions so right. Just wish the world could settle down this way too.

This is really cute and it is as if each were saying the lines as you jotted them down. Guess Tetsu got a good rest, doesn't look like either of the furry friends was going to leave too soon. Also, you Noah's Ark block is very nice. I can't embroider very well, wish I had learned when I was younger.

I bet Tetsu didn't want to move - how long did he last before his legs went completely numb?

Everyone looks so mellow. Hard to believe that cat is part of the feline brigands who kept you from putting up your Christmas tree and vandalized the nativity scene.

What gorgeous photos! They made me laugh and are not that different to what sometimes happens here!!

Aren't they cute sitting up there together? Chesty's only exposure to cats was barking at the ones in our yard in GA.

I like watching some TV shows and I like movies but I usually want to be working on a binding or doing some mindless knitting. Keith drives me crazy with all the news shows. I can't stand all the *experts* running off at the mouth and I usually have to go off and sew in another room if I can't convince him to change the channel.

Love the Cat vs. Dog pictures. So cute. The Lions look good. I must go see if the January block is out and I love the round robin.

I bet they all 3 were snoring.

(My two have that same conversation all the time & they are both cats!)
