Morning scenes

The days are warming up and everything is beautiful. Choco seems to think that we should wake up with the sun and go out and see what has sprouted anew and so I am out on the fields at 5:30 or earlier.

I don't know why I'm drawn to the wheat fields. It seems like every year I take this same picture...

A picture of our church from the back. It looks out over the hills and fields and behind it is a farmer's home.

And though this wasn't on an early morning walk, I stopped by this road on my way into town the other day. Sort of scenic spot not 10 minutes from where I live but I don't think many people except for locals know about it.

Gorgeous pictures!! I can see why you are drawn to the wheat fields. Amazing color and light! Can you read Japanese? If so, can you do me a favor and visit my post of Sat, 5/2? I would like some translation if possible. Thanks.

wow! those photos are awesome! there are some wheat fields about half an hour from here, and I love them in all stages; when they are soft blankets of green, when they wave their pointy lanzets in the air, when they are like spilled gold... sigh!

Just beautiful...what kind of flowers? I love all the colors and textures of the growing season. I'm not too keen on a ride in a small plane but imagine all the patchwook of colors would be beautiful to see from above. Usually when I'm in a large plane we're too high to really see the slight changes of color.
