Watermark

Some friends came over for patchwork yesterday bringing bags of supplies and tools. Everything got put out on the table and sewing began. And the next we looked, Toi was trying out the different sized bags and boxes finding one that suited him.

"This one is a great size... and insulated. (It is actually a shopping bag for groceries.) What do you think? Does it go nicely with my coloring?"

"Now this is a little tight... but I do like the color and besides it is right in the midst of all the sewing so I choose THIS ONE!"

The box was a little mis-shapen when Toi finally got out of it.

Yesterday afternoon Mrs. Ochiai called me.

"Tanya, I've been meaning to tell you but I keep forgetting. Do you know that your watermark on your pictures still says 2010? I really think you should change that. It is already April of 2011!"

Did I laugh at that! Nope. I hadn't noticed that I was four months behind. If Mrs. Ochiai hadn't mentioned I probably could have gone another year or two! How about anyone else? With all the pictures that I've posted, did anyone else notice that the watermark was off? Or maybe you are all just too polite.

Thank you Mrs. Ochiai! As of Toi's pictures I've change my watermark to 2011!

I don't watermark mine with my name or the year. I figure that if anyone is using them or saving them, they found them through my blog so I put my blog address on them. Sometimes I find photos of my quilts on other people's sites and this way at least if they post one of my quilts and don't say where they got it, people can find me via the watermark.

Yes, I noticed it. I thought I would tell you sometime when I left a comment...but, then totally forgot about it!

Just like a baby, Toi is most interested in the packaging.

No, I didn't notice the watermark. :) I also appreciate it when someone sees something on my blog that needs fixing.

Best,
Lois

Toi made me laugh! Thanks for the pictures! You know I just HAD to look at previous posts to see that the watermark really hadn't been changed. You see how well I notice things.

2011??? What the heck! How did that happen? I just wrote 1998 on something the other day.

Well, I didn't notice the watermark. Very cute pictures of Toi. Though I don't have a pet, I can enjoy the pets of others and love to see pictures and hear stories about them. Thanks for sharing.

ROFL - leave it to a cat to find the smallest place possible. Toi is adorable! I didn't notice your date on your pics, but I usually don't notice anyway, lol.

Why do cats love to sit in boxes and bags? Or even on the tiniest piece of paper that ends up on the floor?

I didn't even know that it was possible to put your name and date on a photograph, so I certainly hadn't noticed it on yours. I'll have to investigate how that's done.

I didn't notice the date. I'm not sure I always know what year it is anyway, so if I saw the date, I'm not sure I would have thought there was anything wrong with it.

If you like to see a cat that tries to fit into almost anything that looks like a box go to the blog "I am Maru" http://sisinmaru.blog17.fc2.com/
He is a Japanese cat who origins from Scotland if I'm not mistaken. Scroll down the page and you are in for some laughs. Toi is a beautiful cat and he looks a lot like a cat I have had.

I haven't noticed the watermark or the wrong year. Your articles and pictures are so interesting and I haven't noticed that detail.

Toi is totally cute (and Maru too -from the link Ida in Sweden gave).
About your watermark, it is quite small, I didn't really notice the year of it. As long as it belongs to your name, and it's yours ;)

Isn't it comforting to know that others are watching out for us? ;)

My mother's kitty used to cram herself into the tiniest of boxes, we couldn't understand how she slept all twisted up; but she did!
