After the rain

Wednesday and another busy day. 5 kindergarten classes, a ladies' class and a children's class in the next town over. Wednesdays don't leave me much time to do anything else though I may take my Kindle and spend lunch hour at a coffee shop. That's always something to look forward to!

Pictures today are of some spider webs that I spied in the forest after the rain. I wondered if it was any easier to take pictures of spider webs with the new camera. (They were a dilly to photograph with the point and shoot camera.)

Not bad... I don't know WHY they came out when with point and shoot I had more errors in my trial and error attempt.

Spider webs after the rain are so pretty. Spiders aren't so pretty at any time.

The rain had all the rice fields overflowing onto the roads around us.

"Mom, our walking road turned into a stream."

Wonderful photos. The first one could have been taken in the Black Forest in Germany.
Great spiderweb pictures!
I love reading about your life in Japan.

PS - The picture of the forest looks so quiet and serene that I set it as my computer desktop background. I hope you don't mind.

Really like all the pictures! The trees are gorgeous, the spider webs lovely and lacy, and your dog so sweet. :) Your new camera and you do a wonderful job taking pictures. :)

Love the spider webs! I have used them as a quilting design a couple of times, kind of free motion thing.

That camera was a *great* investment! And a treat for all of us followers, lol! Thank you!

Rain isn't much fun to be out walking in is it, but it makes for beautiful photographs. Our roads have had rivers running down them as well over the last couple of weeks due to the huge amount of rain that's been falling. Ruby likes to paddle, but she's not keen on going in over her ankles.

Beautiful photos, Tanya. They could have been taken in my neighborhood, here in the Pacific Northwest.

Oh my, Tanya, those pics are just gorgeous, although I really, really, really hate spiders, lol!

The beautiful forest - it reminds me so much not only of the "bush" behind my parents' home in Canada, but of a drive through a forest in Australia. Isn't it wonderful how an image can knit the world together?

These photographs look like a professional photographer took them. I thought for a minute you had gotten some stock photos.
