More walking.
Choco and I took our morning walk around 5:45 yesterday morning (Tetsu stayed the night in the convalescent home) but the farmers were already working hard!

We passed a leek farm and the farmer and his wife were tilling the soil in the hot houses for spring planting.

Good black soil!

And here are the young leek sprouts being cared for by the farmer's wife.

The planted rice fields peeking through the forest.

Looking down on the paths we've just walked.

Ah, home and a nice cup of coffee in the yard!

Boy do I want a hothouse like that - amazing! Your pics are just gorgeous, Tanya, I love seeing the rice fields and your gorgeous flowers.
Driving home about that time from rice delivery, I can't believe how early it gets light. For a country that is asking everyone to save on electricity, I just can't figure out why they don't go to daylight savings time.
How very beautiful. :) And, the coffee in the yard sounds wonderful, too. :)
that is such a large hot house, they are very industrious. as are you, to be out walking so early.
