Thank you, thank you, thank you for your kind words to Takumi yesterday. You don't know how grateful I am for your congratulations to him. I will point him to the comments page of that post the next time I e-mail him. I have always played down my emotions dealing with Takumi's teenage years and in retrospect I really should have trusted him more. Such a lesson to learn in life.

I'm glad Mi loves Y-kun. Since his social skills aren't very polished and the other children find him a challenge...I'm sure the unconditional love of animals must be a bright spot for him. And of course your encouragement and patience makes a difference in his life too. How's his grandfather?

I hope your cats realize how lucky they are to have such a good home. :) I just think my house would feel really empty without my two cats...even though sometimes they aggravate me considerably.
Hi, Tanya, I always enjoy your cat photography..and think you should be making the photos into a book...glad Y-kun enjoys the cats...and please tell him he has a friend IN... We have just one cat, Sundance, in our home, and he's an indoor/outdoor cat...yup, goes in and out just like a dog would...he is 12 yrs old, and staring to slow down, sleeping more..don't want to think of the time when he's no longer w/ us...even tho he is just Bill's cat..he comes to me for food, drink and to be let out or in...But sits on Bill's lap, or the arm of his chair...go figure...big hugs, Pat in IN
