I have lived in Japan for 42 years and currently live with my husband and 5 cats and a temperamental dog. My two children are living and working in the States. I have been a quilter for over 25 years but I am semi-retired and teach English occasionally. I love the Bible and Jesus and try to serve as I can to His glory
I'm a self-taught quilter who for the past 20 years has progressed through trial and error mostly using Japanese books. I belong to a small group of quilters and we yearly make a bazaar quilt but on my own I dabble in hand piecing and strip piecing and hand quilting. Since joining the blogging world I've enjoyed Wonky piecing and am trying to get a handle on machine quilting using a domestic machine.
Someone let me know that my e-mail address was wrong on the last post I wrote a couple of weeks ago. So sorry about that. I have corrected the address on the last post and here it is again if you are still interested in contacting me...
Although I don't read blogs on a regular basis I have always enjoyed your blog when I've had time to read. Just today a whole bunch of your posts came through on my reader and I saw where you've been making changes. I'm thinking that's why old posts came through. Anyway, I'd like to keep reading as time allows and I'm sorry you've had some problems with comments. Sadly, I do think the Internet makes it possible for people to say things they'd never have the nerve to say to your face. I guess it's the times we live in, but it sure would be nice if people would think first before hitting publish.
