Angels in satin robes with gold bands around their heads and little wings on their shoulders. Wisemen with different headgear and paper mache gifts. Donkeys and cows and sheep with floppy ears and furry hides. Absolutely a wonderful creative endeavor and I wish I had been part of it! Every year and every year the costumes are brought out and I always think what a lasting and valuable gift that was to the kindergarten.Tuesday, December 18, 2007

So nice to see the sweet kids with their lovely costumes. That´s a great idea with the costume gifts.
I like your cyclamen and I also have one but not with ruffles and in dark red.
what a lovely gift. I'm not very good at keeping potted plants alive, but would sure make the effort if it looked like that :-)
I think it is a great idea to donate costumes like that. So much better than having to each student have to make costumes over and over again every year. I often wonder why they don't keep things like that - graduation gowns, costumes, etc.
Those flowers are indeed beautiful. I don't know how hardy they are, but they wouldn't last too long in my house either unfortunately, but not from lack of effort!
It is so sweet to look at the pictures of the children !!
The little children in their costumes look so precious.
The children in their program and costumes look too cute. I love your ruffled cyclamen. They are so pretty....used to care for them in my Flower shop. Don't think ours were nearly that pretty. Just the ordinary ones. Colleen in Africa
I have very bad luck with keeping those lovely Cyclamen alive. I lived in a location once, where they just thrived, but have never had luck since. Beautiful.
How lovely for the children to have the costumes for that pageant!
Gorgeous costumes - having single handedly created full squads of costumes both for the children's infant school and our church (I was the only one with MUG written across my head) I know just how much effort went into those costumes. They are super. That's a lovely cyclamen - love the frilly pink edged flowers - such a lovely plant in the depths of winter - so much prettier than poinsettia I always think
Aren't they cute. The little ones just make you want to cry they are so adorable! How nice to have real costumes. Our kids wear a certain colour and a head band with the animal head on the front. This year my DD2 was a white chicken..not sure I've ever heard of chickens in a nativity...but hey just gotta run with it!
